I can see clearly the benefits of the Freedom Workshop (FW). It’s shown me that we are all fighting the same battle and have each other to lean on. I always tried to do my walk alone and that just doesn’t work. Because of the FW my anger has gotten better and I have seen much growth in the trials that God gives me. Also, because of the FW I’m more aware of the enemy’s voice trying to distract me.

One important takeaway from my time at the Freedom Workshop (FW) was how we have the mind of Christ. I knew that in theory, but the FW helped me unpack what that really meant. I learned not to engage with the other voices (the devil, demons, and the sinful nature) and to make God the audience of my thoughts. That I don’t need to stop talking, just talk to HIM.

I have learned that even as Christians we can face hard things but we don’t have to get stuck there. I learned how to memorize scripture that God brings back to my mind when I need it. I never realized the importance and impact of memorizing scripture or being in the Word every day. I learned how to have a deeper relationship and connection with God.
